Normal operation
RME inputs → plug-in server → RME outputs
OTHER TOOLS · WINDOWS AND MAC BETA

A fallback path for an audio chain built around an RME interface and TotalMix.
AudioWatch monitors the application processing your audio. If it fails, AudioWatch asks TotalMix to recall a FALLBACK snapshot that connects inputs directly to outputs. Processing is temporarily lost, but the signal can keep passing.
Designed for a plug-in server. AudioWatch remains a specialist beta; these releases do not qualify audio failover on a real RME setup.
v0.1.20 · beta
Windows 0.1.20 beta: installation and Quit button verified. Check routing before use; failover on real RME hardware is not qualified.
The standard upgrade from 0.1.19 retains the same folder and application identity. All 486 installed payload files match the qualified files; all 51 checked personal files remain unchanged after startup and shutdown. The Quit button stopped Desktop and Agent, without restarting during the delayed check. Monitoring was not armed and no RME operation was exercised. The previous-backup warning remains visible. Physical TotalMix routing, audio continuity, real incident recovery, host monitoring and a full language/DPI matrix remain unqualified. The 112 historical tests are reported, without a new execution for this delivery. The Windows installer is unsigned.
Mac 0.1.20 beta · macOS 12+ · Apple Silicon and Intel. Tested on Apple Silicon; Intel without native execution. Ad hoc signing, not notarised by Apple.
Apple Silicon: 14 C mock checks, 2 native owned-child checks and 50 Swift tests passed before packaging. The same 50 Swift tests were repeated from the mounted DMG; these are not additional unique cases. A simulated AppKit smoke check passed, without visual acceptance or real user clicks. Intel: cross-build, architecture, structure, signing and notices checked, without native Intel execution. The packages declare macOS 12 as their minimum; this is not an operating-system compatibility matrix. Ad hoc signing was verified by the Mac recipe, without Developer ID or notarisation. RME hardware, real audio, personal installation and Mac profile upgrades remain unqualified. Retained logs do not independently establish clean DMG detachment. No Windows parity or verified personal migration is claimed.
RME inputs → plug-in server → RME outputs
RME inputs → TotalMix FALLBACK snapshot → RME outputs
Choose the application to watch and explicitly arm the profile. Simulation is enabled by default.
When an incident is confirmed, AudioWatch can request the FALLBACK snapshot prepared in TotalMix.
A window explains what happened. You can relaunch the application after checking the situation.
Once processing is running again, request the NORMAL snapshot and confirm the return after checking TotalMix and listening.
Create and save your NORMAL and FALLBACK snapshots in TotalMix, with the right routing, levels and OSC port for the selected interface. Rehearse off-air at a controlled level before arming monitoring.
Beta for Windows x64 and macOS 12 or later, Apple Silicon or Intel. Software qualification is not acceptance testing for audio failover on physical RME hardware. The Mac edition does not include the Windows agent or its unresponsive-window probe: quitting the app stops monitoring.
