Expose every source in a clear monitoring matrix so anyone can immediately check the signal they need.
SMON · Live monitoring matrix
StageMon
Select a source. Listen. Verify.
StageMon turns stage monitoring into a simple matrix: find any source, choose a monitor circuit and recall selections with one click. From the QR-code local remote, an authorised phone can now control the line check and directly receive monitor A, B or A+B over WebRTC/Opus. Working independently or connected to StageFlow, StageMon keeps the patch close at hand and highlights source-label changes.
STANDALONEOn its own, StageMon lets you build a session, find every source and control the stage monitor buses freely.
In the field
Practical uses in the field.
Run a fully autonomous line check from a phone when monitor outputs are available on the audio network.
Join a StageFlow session to retrieve the patch and follow changes to labels, pairs and microphone references.
How it works
Prepare, adjust, use.
Open the patch
Create a standalone session or read a StageFlow project to retrieve sources, pairs and labels.
Choose the monitors
Assign sources to monitor circuits and save selections as named CUE snapshots.
Listen from stage
Open the local remote by QR code, authorise the phone, select sources and optionally receive monitor A, B or A+B.
Inside the software
Real screens. Concrete uses.
Key features
What you can do.
Find sources quickly in the matrix through search, groups, favourites and exclusive or additive listening.
On Windows and macOS, two A/B circuits by default, expandable to six, each with a configurable name, colour and mono or stereo output.
Create numbered, named CUE snapshots and recall a selection with one click above the matrix. Levels, mutes and physical outputs remain unchanged.
Keep snapshots with a native StageMon project or a local StageFlow project by saving the project.
Control sources from the local remote and, when enabled by the operator, listen directly to A, B or A+B on each authorised phone over WebRTC/Opus.
Give every phone its own gain and mute without changing physical outputs or their controls; phone streaming is off by default.
Level, mute, permanent sources, A/B LINK and audio ramps designed to avoid clicks.
Choose a standalone project, a local StageFlow file or a LIVE session with voluntary pairing and reconnection.
Review before/after label changes and acknowledge them locally while newly arrived alerts remain pending.
Run an input test on demand from Tools without implicitly starting audio.
On Windows: modern OSC for A–F circuits; MIDI Learn and automation for A/B clear/mute, patch and audio. On Mac: QR-code web remote for A–F circuits.
Ecosystem and compatibility
Tools, systems and formats that work together.
StageMon brings together the monitoring, local control and shared-project tools required for operation.
Audio
Windows: ASIO. Mac: CoreAudio with a duplex interface or a user-configured aggregate.

Control by platform
The QR-code web remote and its optional WebRTC/Opus phone monitoring are available on both systems. OSC and the MIDI bridge are connected to the Windows application, not to the current Mac package.

v2027.1.0
Shared stable v2027.1.0 release for Windows x64 and macOS Apple Silicon / Intel. Projects now have a safe close flow, atomic saves and one .bak generation. The additive StageFlow LIVE 2027.1 contract keeps group following optional, and the QR server remains off until explicitly enabled. Optional WebRTC/Opus phone monitoring stays separate from physical A–F outputs and sends no audio before activation. Software tests do not qualify a particular audio interface, physical phone, show Wi-Fi or Bluetooth latency; DMGs are ad-hoc signed, without Apple Developer ID signing or notarisation.
Mac installation and validation notes
Open the DMG and drag StageMon into Applications. First launch may require approval in Privacy & Security. Never disable Gatekeeper or global macOS protections.
For audio, use a CoreAudio duplex interface or an aggregate device you have configured in Audio MIDI Setup. StageMon does not create aggregates or start audio automatically: check outputs and levels, then start audio locally and allow microphone access.
This Codemagic release was validated natively on Apple Silicon. The Intel build is cross-compiled with architecture checks; this is not native acceptance testing on an Intel Mac. macOS 12 remains the declared minimum, without native acceptance testing on that system version.
Automated checks cover WebRTC/SRTP/Opus, authorisation, revocation, listener limits, source changes and zero streaming while muted or while the engine is stopped. They do not qualify a real phone, Safari, headphone/Bluetooth latency or the show network. Test your setup outside production before critical live use.
